A daily practice for beginning English

Your words.
Your next language.

Bring one sentence you actually say. NextTongue uses your iPhone’s language capabilities to turn it into one useful American English sentence, then guides you through enough listening, speaking, writing, and review to make it familiar.

01 — The practice

One small lesson.
Real weight.

NextTongue is built for depth, not volume. You work with one short, everyday sentence from your own life and keep both your original words and the English in view.

01

Listen

Hear the complete English sentence in a US English voice. Each full playback counts as one deliberate repetition.

02

Speak

Read the visible sentence aloud. Your iPhone transcribes your speech so you can compare what it heard with the target words.

03

Write

Write the visible English with the iPhone handwriting keyboard. Passing attempts move the practice forward.

02 — The rhythm

Practice today.
Return on purpose.

Every sentence follows the same fixed review rhythm. Due reviews stay due, and new sentences wait until they are complete. The structure is simple so your attention can stay on the language.

  1. 0Learn, then review twiceToday
  2. 2Return to the sentenceDay 2
  3. 3Strengthen the patternDay 3
  4. 7Bring it back againDay 7
  5. 15Keep it within reachDay 15
  6. 30Complete the cycleDay 30
03 — Privacy by design

Your practice stays personal.

Apple system language features may process requests on the device or through Apple services, depending on your iPhone, settings, downloaded resources, and network conditions.
